JAWS, ZoomText, and Fusion 2026 are now available, bringing powerful new features and functionality designed to increase proficiency and create a more seamless experience. Here’s a look at some of the new features and how they will redefine how you access and interact with information.
Vispero Accounts: A New Way to Connect Your Products
Beginning with the 2026 release, all users are required to sign in with a Vispero Account to use JAWS, ZoomText, and Fusion in the United States. This change brings all your Vispero products together under one secure, unified account, making it easier to stay connected, access new features, and enjoy a more seamless experience across devices.
With this new account you can:
- Choose to receive announcements about product updates and other relevant information using verified email addresses.
- Learn about new AI features and other unique services as they become available.
- Use one account across multiple devices, paving the way for future enhancements like the ability to conveniently synchronize your preferences and settings when signing into an account after installing your Vispero software on a new PC.
During the full week of the October 29th software release, our Tech Support team will offer extended hours to ensure customers are supported through the registration rollout. We’ll be open one hour later on weeknights, until 8:00 PM Eastern (5:00 PM Pacific), and will also provide support on the first Saturday after the release for anyone who needs help over the weekend. To contact technical support, call 800-444-4443.
Page Explorer for Quickly Summarizing Web Pages Using AI
FSCompanion, your AI tool for learning JAWS, ZoomText, and Fusion, is now more powerful than ever with the addition of Page Explorer. This integrated AI feature, available in JAWS and Fusion, gives you an instant overview of any web page. This helps you determine the best way to navigate the page by providing valuable information about page layout, main content, and important links. You’ll also receive helpful navigation tips and keystrokes.
This feature gives you:
- Faster orientation to complex pages by helping you quickly understand what a page contains without having to navigate element by element.
- Navigation tips tailored to the current page to help you quickly locate the information you need. For example, on a page containing several regions and multiple tables, Page Explorer can provide a summary of the content of each region and table along with the keystrokes for navigating among regions and interacting with the table data.
- Important links on a page you may need to know about, so you don’t have to browse through the entire page to locate them. Links activated from the Page Explorer window will open in your default web browser.
- The ability to ask follow-up questions about the current page right inside Page Explorer to get more details about specific elements or content. For example, if you are on a page containing a lengthy article, you might ask Page Explorer to briefly summarize the article, highlight the key takeaways, or present the entire article without surrounding content like advertisements or content not directly related to the main text that might interrupt the reading flow.
A Consolidated Fusion Toolbar for Screen Magnification and Screen Reading
Fusion 2026 introduces a reorganized toolbar that brings together all ZoomText and JAWS functions into one easy-to-navigate interface. The new Fusion Toolbar streamlines access to magnification, reading, speech, and braille settings, making it simpler to control all aspects of Fusion in one place.
The Fusion Toolbar is fully accessible and supports keyboard, mouse, and touch gestures.
With the new Fusion Toolbar, you can:
- Access all Fusion tools and features in one place.
- Customize the toolbar to match your preferred interaction style, giving you complete control over how you work.
- Navigate your computer more intuitively and efficiently when using both visual and speech access.
