Web Accessibility In Mind (WebAIM) is surveying screen reader users to collect information that will impact the future development of web content and web standards. WebAIM, part of Utah State University, provides training, tools, and information to assist in the creation of websites that are accessible to individuals with disabilities.
Why Web Accessibility Matters
Web accessibility is crucial to ensure screen reader users can readily access information on the web. This includes content such as:
- Text
- Tables
- Forms
- Videos
Websites are often used to shop online, complete school assignments, and perform essential work tasks. This makes accessibility a necessary part of website development.
Whether you consider yourself a novice or an advanced JAWS user, we ask that you contribute to the future of web accessibility by taking the WebAIM Screen Reader Survey. It will remain open through January 31, 2024, and takes around five to ten minutes to complete.
