Are you looking for info about the exciting new features and enhancements in JAWS, ZoomText, and Fusion 2025? Want to see some in action? Join us and our friends at the American Printing House for the Blind (APH) on Wednesday, December 18 at 3:00 PM Eastern time. This live webinar, “2025 Vision: Explore the Latest Updates in Fusion, ZoomText and JAWS,” will offer a good overview of the improvements to each of the three products.
What We’ll Cover
We’ll provide an overview of the software, plus discuss:
- FSCompanion, your new AI assistant that enables you to ask questions about JAWS, ZoomText, and other applications like Word, Outlook, and Excel. Use FSCompanion to learn how to perform a task, look up a setting, or request keystrokes.
- Automatic Language Detection: For users who read documents or web pages in multiple languages, authors occasionally use incorrect language tags, which JAWS relies on when switching between languages. JAWS now automatically detects the language in use and adjusts the voice based on the written language. This feature runs entirely on your computer and does not access the Internet.
- Improvements to navigating and reading EPUB books. EPUB is a popular format for producing textbooks and other digital publications and is supported in a wide range of devices and eBook reading applications.
- Multi-monitor experience: We’ve turned off the sound effects and artificial border when switching between monitors to streamline the user experience. We’ll discuss how to turn them back on should you prefer and tell you how to adjust the settings.
