JAWS, ZoomText and MAGic now freely available in Hungary

As we’ve blogged previously, we’re always looking for innovative initiatives to ensure that our powerful software is available to all who need it.

One such approach is to work with national governments and other entities to establish country-wide licenses. In Colombia and Spain, any blind person can already use JAWS, ZoomText and MAGic at no cost to them, fostering opportunities in information access, employment and education.

Now, in conjunction with IT Foundation for the Visually Impaired, we’re delighted to announce the introduction of a country-wide license for Hungary, which could benefit as many as 300,000 people living in the country.

Any individual or entity can now apply to the Hungarian government for a copy of JAWS, ZoomText or MAGic with a free annual license.

The license of course comes with ongoing updates to the software for the duration of the license, plus top-quality technical support is available.

In this fast-paced world of technological change, we’re pleased to partner with the Hungarian Government, who have invested in the capacity and equality of opportunity of blind people and those with low vision.

If you live in Hungary and wish to apply for your free copy of any or all the available software, complete the application form.
